Gordo Jiu Jitsu USA was founded by world champion and creator of the half-guard, Roberto Gordo Correa, one of the most important figures in Jiu Jitu's history. Gordo has been a Jiu Jitsu professor since the 90's and has helped shape IBJJF world champion grapplers such as Celso Vinicius, Braga Neto and many others. The Weston, Florida location is Gordo's headquarters, and offers classes for all types of levels and ages.

At Gordo's Academy we live by our family-oriented values: teamwork, loyalty and integrity. We believe these basic values hold true for any family and this is the basis of our Little Samurai program. Under the careful supervision of a head instructor, the program is delivered with the assistance of other instructors.
This ensures a safe and effective learning environment. Parents are welcome to stay and watch their children learn in a fun, relaxing environment and balance their energy levels.
