Rafael "Gordinho" Correa de Lima - Professor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Rafael is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Mundials BJJ Black Belt World Champion and is responsible for the course curriculum of the Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts. He brings over 25 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Rafael grew up in Brazil next to the Gracies. He has been a close friend of Renzo's for over 30 years. Rafael has fought in hundreds of BJJ fights. He was the winner of the 1998 Mundials World Championships in the Black Belt Division. He is also a 5 time National Champion of Brazil where he was voted the most technical fighter and also had the fastest submission (12 seconds). He is also a runner-up in ADCC Brazil. He has competed and won in numerous other tournaments around the world.
Gordinho is also the Leader and Head Coach of the official Evolve Fight Team. Before Evolve, Gordinho also trained, helped, and coached many professional MMA fighters in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) and the IFL (International Fight League) such as Renzo Gracie, Georges St Pierre, Roger Gracie, Rolles Gracie, Igor Gracie, Gregor Gracie, Renato Babalu Sobral, Andre Gusmao. Ricardo Almeida, Matt Serra, and many others.
Rafael has taught for many years in Brazil and the US. Prior to Evolve, he was the most senior Black Belt instructor (after Renzo Gracie) at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. The Renzo Gracie Academy in New York is the largest BJJ school in the world with over 1200 students in a single location. Rafael was also the Program Director at the school. He is also a sought-after instructor on the seminar circuit around the world.
Widely regarded as one of the most technical Black Belts from Gracie Barra, Rafael holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Carlos Gracie Jr. He is also certified in both CPR and AED training.

Roberto "Gordo" Correa de Lima - Professor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Roberto is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Brazil. He is the head of Evolve Brazil. Gordo is a legendary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 4th Degree Black Belt and the inventor of the half-guard. He is BJJ Black Belt World Champion and has won every major BJJ title - many of them multiple times. Having trained with the Gracie Family all of his life, Gordo is considered to be one of the top 5 BJJ masters in Brazil. He has produced many BJJ World Champions including BJJ Black Belt World Champion Marcio "Pe de Pano" Cruz, current Super Heavyweight BJJ Black Belt World Champion Antonio Braga Neto, BJJ World Champion Leandro Thomas da Silva, and many others. He has also produced many MMA fighters such as Strikeforce Champion Renato "Babalu" Sobral, UFC fighter Rafael dos Anjos and Marcio Cruz. Gordo's younger brother is BJJ World Champion Rafael "Gordinho" Correa de Lima.

Nuengpichit Sityodtong - Kru, Muay Thai
Nuengpichit is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champion with almost 300 professional fights over 22 years. Nuengpichit has a fight record of 230-61-2. He is a senior member of the revered Sityodtong Gym in Thailand. He began his professional fight career at the age of 11 and has fought all over Thailand and around the world. He is widely viewed as a master technician and is well known for using the most difficult Muay Thai techniques in the ring. His favorite techniques are the front push kick, the spinning back elbow, the flying downward elbow, and the high roundhouse kick. The Thai media voted Nuengpichit's push kick as one of the top 5 of all-time in Muay Thai. Nuengpichit was also an amateur boxing champion in the Thai Army.

Yoddecha Sityodtong - Kru, Muay Thai
Yoddecha is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is currently a World Champion in Muay Thai and has won many titles in Thailand and around the world. He is an elite professional fighter with a fight record of 145-37 and has been with Sityodtong Gym in Thailand since he was a child. With over 20 years of professional fighting experience at Lumpinee and other stadiums around the world, his style is a ferocious blend of beautiful kicks and elbows. His favorite techniques are the spinning back elbow, the flying knee, and the front leg high roundhouse kick. A fearless competitor, he is willing to fight anyone in the world in his weight class in any country. Yoddecha has also been featured on the TV show "Human Weapon" on the History Channel.

Toy Sityodtong - Kru, Muay Thai and MMA
Toy is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts. Kru Toy is the son of the legendary Kru Yodtong Senanan, one of the most influential Grandmasters of Muay Thai in history. Toy helps to oversee the Evolve Muay Thai Program to ensure that it lives up to the elite standards of the Sityodtong Gym in Thailand. He is a lifelong practitioner, fighter, and teacher of Muay Thai. He is also one of the Managing Directors of the Sityodtong Gym in Thailand with responsibility over gym operations, fighter development, fight promotions, and the Sityodtong brand. Today, Toy also works closely with the 11 Sityodtong Gyms around the world to ensure the highest standards of Muay Thai excellence. He is closely associated with the success of Sityodtong USA and works with Mark Dellagrotte to produce elite UFC title contenders such as Kenny Florian, Patrick Cote, and more. In most circles in Thailand, Toy is viewed as one of the top Muay Thai trainers with many World Champions as his students.

Chatri Sityodtong - Kru, Muay Thai and MMA
Chatri is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He brings over 18 years of martial arts experience. He has fought in over 30 fights across different disciplines (Muay Thai and MMA). He has also competed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Chatri grew up in Thailand and began his training in Muay Thai at the world-renowned Sityodtong Gym as a young boy. A long-time student of Kru Yodtong Senanan, he has fought professionally in Thailand for the Sityodtong Gym. He has also coached and trained professional MMA fighters such as UFC Fighter Rafael Dos Anjos and BJJ World Champions, Antonio Braga Neto and Leandro Brodinho, for top MMA events such as the UFC, the Art of War Fighting Championship, and more. Yodsanan is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He was the WBA World Champion in Boxing from 2002 to 2005 in the Super Featherweight division. He is currently ranked in the top 5 in the world. His professional fight record in Western Boxing is 58-3-1 with 47 KOs. He is currently one of Thailand’s top professional boxers with a nickname of Little Tyson for his monstrous punching power and KO percentage. He brings over 40 years of professional Muay Thai experience as a professional fighter and as a trainer of Lumpinee Muay Thai World Champions. He has fought in over 100 professional Muay Thai fights. His knowledge of the fight game is unsurpassed. He has been at the Sityodtong Gym for most of his career as a fighter and elite trainer. Known for his devastating knee strikes, Yodrit has represented the Sityodtong Gym at the Lumpinee Stadium for many of his fights. He is also a regional Muay Thai Champion in Thailand. Kongtoranee is from the Sityodtong Gym in Thailand. Kongtoranee is a living legend in Thailand and the only man to win the Lumpinee Muay Thai World Championship in 5 weight categories. The Thai media has ranked both Kongtoranee and his brother, Samart Payakaroon Sityodtong, in the top 5 best fighters of all time in Muay Thai. In Thailand, Kongtoranee and Samart are household names. Antonio Braga Neto Teixeira - Instructor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA
Braga Neto is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Brazil. A Mundials Black Belt World Champion, he is currently one of the top grapplers in the world with 17 years of experience. Most recently, he won the 2008 Mundials World Championships in the Super Heavyweight Black Belt division. He also is the 2008 No Gi World Champion. Braga Neto has won numerous regional, national, and world titles in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He is the only person to have ever won the World Championships in consecutive years as a Blue Belt, a Purple Belt, a Brown Belt, and a Black Belt. He has won numerous regional and national titles in Brazil. He is currently a professional MMA fighter with the Art of War, China's largest MMA organization. Lucie Benito - Instructor, Strength and Conditioning
Lucie is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. She brings over 18 years of fitness and health experience. She is an expert in strength training, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, weight-loss guidance, and nutrition. An avid athlete, Lucie's athletic experience includes gymnastics, dance, skiing, snowboarding, tennis, road & mountain biking, in-line skating, triathlons, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She has competed in endurance bike races, completing races of 250-600 miles in 3-7 days. Lucie has also done an Olympic Distance Triathlon, a Sprint Triathlon, a Duathlon, and an Aquathlon. She has worked at elite health clubs such as Equinox Fitness in New York.
Lucie is a certified ECITS Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She is also a PADI-certified Rescue Diver and is certified in CPR and AED.

Setsuma Takeda - Instructor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA
Setsuma is an Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is currently one of the top Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters in his weight division in Southeast Asia with over 15 years of combined martial arts experience. A complete fighter with expertise in striking and grappling, he has fought in over 70 fights across different disciplines (MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Muay Thai, and Karate). Most recently, he has fought in the Art of War, China’s largest MMA organization. Additionally, he has won multiple awards in various MMA, BJJ, and Shooto competitions in China and Japan.
Setsuma is one of the top Professional MMA fighters in Singapore. With 9 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience, he holds a Purple Belt. He has trained at both the famous Renzo Gracie Academy in New York and at the Alive Academy in Nagoya. He has also trained Muay Thai in Thailand. He is also a 2nd degree black belt in Kenshikai Karate, and an advanced fighter of Daidojuku, an elite full contact style fighting system. He is also certified in both CPR and AED training.

Tommy Yang - Assistant Instructor, MMA
Tommy is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter with a 10-1 record in Korea. Tommy is also a Pancrase Middleweight Champion in Korea. He is a well balanced fighter with good striking, good wrestling, and a solid ground game.

Judd Sanchez - Assistant Instructor, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA
Judd is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. An accomplished striker with 19 years of experience, he is well versed in several fighting systems. He studied Muay Thai for 8 years under Master Dan Inosanto and Master Richard Bustillo, the 2 most prized proteges of Bruce Lee. During his military service for the US Military, he competed on the Boxing Team and trained in Krav Maga (Hand-to-Hand Combat and Defensive Tactics) at the US National Training Center. Judd also had the privilege of studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under the legendary Rickson Gracie and Mundials Black Belt World Champions Rafael "Gordinho" Correa, Antonio Braga Neto, Leandro "Brodinho" Issa, Almiro Barros, and Kron Gracie. Additionally, Judd won Gold and Silver Medals at the 2009 International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open in Thailand as a member of the 1st Place Evolve Fight Team.

Ben Iams - Assistant Instructor, Submission Grappling
Ben is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is one of Singapore's top grapplers and the 2008 gold medalist in the Open Weight, No-Gi Division at the Singapore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament. He has over 6 years of submission wrestling experience at one of the top MMA schools in the US (AMC Pankration with Matt Hume). He has also studied at No Limits Jiu Jitsu with Juliano Prado. He has rolled and sparred with a veritable who's-who of MMA and submission wrestling, including Josh Barnett, Hayato Sakurai, Chris Leben, Kaol Uno, Johnny Ramirez, and Michael "The Turkish Whirlwind" Wanaka. He is also certified in both CPR and AED training.

Brian Choi - Assistant Instructor, Wrestling and MMA
Brian is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He is a Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter from Korea with a record of 2-1. He has trained extensively with K-1 fighter Rou Yang Ro. Brian also has 5 years of wrestling experience in the US at the collegiate level. He has competed in over hundred matches. Brian is currently sponsored by Supex and Isami.

Elbert is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. A takedown and grappling specialist, his background is in freestyle wrestling. He recently started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to complement his fight game and won the Silver Medal at the Alive Singapore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Invitational in 2008. He has also trained in Muay Thai for 2 years. Elbert has had over 70 matches in his martial arts career. He is also certified in CPR and AED training.

Dave is an Assistant Instructor at Evolve Mixed Martial Arts in Singapore. He has over 8 years of wrestling experience and has competed at the collegiate level in the US. While attending the US Airforce Academy, Dave was coached by Olympic wrestler, Wayne Baughman. He has competed in over 100 matches in his wrestling career. He is also certified in CPR and AED training.
