Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective, reality-based fighting systems in the world.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the most effective, reality-based fighting systems in the world. The basic premise of BJJ is that 90% of fights end up on the ground. As such, BJJ is focused primarily on effective ground fighting. The goal is to put an opponent into situations on the ground where joint locks and/or chokes can be applied to force him/her to submit.

Background

Evolve is an official Renzo Gracie Affiliate Academy. The Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program at Evolve is the first and only program in Asia that is officially endorsed by the legendary Renzo Gracie. The Gracie Family invented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and we are proud to uphold the values of honor, integrity, and courage as the only Renzo Gracie Affliate Academy in Asia.

The Evolve Renzo Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Program is designed for the person whose primary desire is to learn self-defense on the ground with a focus on technique and fitness.

  • You will also be invited to participate in Renzo Gracie Academy-sponsored field trips to Brazil to train at the Gracie Barra Academy.
  • You will be eligible to compete in the annual Renzo Gracie Invitational Tournament in New York.
